Yesterday evening, in appearing on the Late Late Show, I spoke about our Labour values. I put forward our ambition for positive change, the motivation that drives all of us in seeking to build a better, fairer and more equal Ireland.

It was a great opportunity to articulate our shared vision for the future.

Thanks to all of you who took the time to contact me after the show - I really appreciate the positive feedback that I have received from so many.

As I said last night, despite the many challenges we face, I am excited about how we can shape our shared future.  All of us have been utterly dismayed at the chaos unleashed upon the world this week by the Trump administration and we are all deeply concerned about the impact Trump’s terrible Tariff plans are likely to have.

However, like you, I believe that politics can be a force for good.  I hope that I put across the case for our positive, constructive politics of change on last night’s programme. If you want to join us now in working for a better, fairer Ireland, then I have one ask:
