Here's one from the archives, thanks to Mick Fitz for capturing this video of the March4Choice rally in Dublin, 2012.

As we approach another campaign and potential referendum to Repeal the 8th Amendment I still stand committed to safe and legal access to abortion rights and the right to choose. #IAmProChoice

"Senator Ivana Bacik is an indictment of the Irish political system. Men who are not fit to shine her shoes have occupied Ministries of State, yet the electorate has never had the moral courage to select her for a lower house seat. It is an enduring mystery as to why a nation that wishes to be viewed as based on a Smart Economy is so terrified of strong, intelligent women. Perhaps that may explain some of the realities behind Irelan's archaic abortion laws, or lack of them.

Here Ivana recalls the circumstances which gave rise to the original X case ruling, and as a Professor of Law she is pivotally placed to distinguish between legislators playing politics and making laws. Her views on those who play dice with womens' lives for political ends, can easily be discerned in this clip, with the additional contribution of noisy fundamentalists in background."
